Job Description
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant tax laws, regulations, and social security policies to guarantee compliance with all legal mandates.
- Offer specialized advice and strategic recommendations to internal teams regarding tax planning, withholding responsibilities, and social security contributions.
- Interpret and apply tax codes and regulations to evaluate the company's global mobility tax liabilities and uncover tax-saving opportunities.
- Work in tandem with finance and HR departments to ensure precise calculation and reporting of payroll taxes and social security contributions, particularly for remote work arrangements.
- Perform thorough audits of remote work populations and procedures, verifying accuracy and pinpointing potential compliance issues in tax and social security matters.
- Devise and execute strategies aimed at minimizing tax exposure while remaining compliant with legal standards.
- Contribute to the preparation and filing of tax returns and related documents for various tax jurisdictions.
- Build and nurture strong client relationships to foster long-term partnerships and drive business growth.
- Address tax-related inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders, providing clear, informed responses.
- Engage in tax planning meetings, aiding in the structuring of transactions for optimal tax efficiency.
- Keep abreast of legislative changes in tax laws and analyze their potential impact on the company's operations.
- Collaborate with external auditors and consultants during tax audits and compliance evaluations.
- Conduct educational sessions for internal teams on tax and social security issues to raise awareness and comprehension.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all tax liabilities, payments, and social security contributions.
- Analyze financial information to identify and address potential areas of risk or noncompliance, suggesting appropriate corrective measures.
Qualifications
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certification, or CA qualification is preferred.
- Years of Experience: Minimum of 8-15 years of experience.
