Finance Director – Fixed Assets, Leasing, and SaaS Accounting
This position reports into the VP of Finance Operations & Consolidations and will be located in Bangalore, India.
The Finance Director will be responsible for managing all accounting related to Fixed Assets, Leasing, and SaaS Accounting. This position will also represent the Finance function physically located in the India GCC.

Time details: This position works until 1030pm India time. we can adjust start time accordingly
What you will do
This role will deliver oversight to ensure all accounting and reporting decisions made in the Fixed Assets, Leasing, and the SaaS Accounting space are compliant and consistent with US Generally Accepted Account Principles and company worldwide procedures. The Director is responsible for overseeing and directing Kenvue’s accounting and reporting around all key processes in compliance with company policy and applicable regulatory requirements. This includes controlling, and directing the financial operations of the company’s Fixed Assets, Leasing, and SaaS operations, as well as designing and implementing measures to ensure accurate recording and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all activities related to Fixed assets, Leasing, and SaaS Accounting, including all JE, BSARs, and supplemental reporting
Focus on global standardization and optimization across all business units, collaborating regularly on the development and adherence to documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), with the key aim to implement and maintain one consistent, high-quality standards
Oversee ongoing improvements and automation projects in collaboration with IT team
Maintain a deep understanding of the organization's financial cycles and business models.
Implement, monitor, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures to comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations.
Serve as the company expert in Fixed Assets, SaaS, and lease accounting ensuring consistency of accounting treatment, driving deep expertise across the department.
Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to Senior Management.
Liaise with Legal Entity Controllers to ensure audit compliance and assist with any audit requests received.
Remain updated with industry trends, changes in accounting rulings, and latest technologies to ensure the team is evolving as per industry standards.
Represent Finance on GCC Site Leadership Team forums and work closely with the GCC Lead.
Act as the point of contact (POC) for escalation points from the Finance Community in the GCC (site operations-related issues).
Ensure a seamless onboarding experience and promote employee engagement.
Align on employee engagement areas or activities that are specific to the dedicated site, advising on the prioritization of events focused on adding value.
Leadership and People Management
Foster collaborative relationships with essential functions such as Controllership, Supply Chain Finance, FP&A, and other Finance Operations Directors.
Oversee and manage the team and provide mentorship and training for career development.
Serve as a member of the Finance Operations & Consolidations Leadership Team, assist in attracting, developing, and retaining a highly competent, high-performing, motivated and diverse team.
Assume Responsibility for the retention and career development of direct reports.

Qualifications
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
A minimum of a bachelor’s level degree or equivalent is required, preferably in accounting or finance.
Chartered Accountant, CPA, or equivalent
Fluent English, confidence in presenting to Senior Management in English
Experience with Fixed Assets, Lease Accounting (ASC 842), and SaaS Accounting
At least 10 years of professional experience is required
At least 4 years of Management / Supervisory experience is required
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels
Ability to frame clear & concise communication across all relevant stakeholders
Mindset to leverage technology and automation to achieve best in class results
Ability to handle ambiguity and fluid situations, demonstrating a pragmatic approach
Successfully manage multiple priorities, be very organized and work efficiently to tight deadlines
Ability to sponsor and drive process and continuous improvement initiatives
Solid US GAAP accounting knowledge
