Job DescriptionJob Title: Senior AccountantLocation: Vesu, Surat, GujaratSalary Range: INR30,000 - INR35,000 per monthExperience: 3 - 5 yearsIndustry: Gems & Jewellery Working Hours: 10:30 AM - 7:30 PMAbout the Company:A well-established company in the Gems & Jewellery industry, specializing in high-quality Jewellery and precious stones, is looking for a Senior Accountant to manage its financial operations.Key Responsibilities:Handle day-to-day accounting operations including ledger entries, invoicing, and reconciliations.Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.Oversee GST, TDS, and other tax filings and ensure timely compliance.Manage bank reconciliations, cash flow, and fund management.Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits.Monitor accounts payable and receivable transactions.Handle payroll processing and expense management.Use accounting software (Tally, SAP, or any industry-specific software) effectively.Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting.Requirements:B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.3 - 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the Gems & Jewellery or Diamond industry.Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other tax regulations.Proficiency in Tally ERP, SAP, or similar accounting software.Good understanding of financial reporting and compliance.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred Candidate:Candidates with experience in the Gems & Jewellery or Diamond industry.Candidates residing in or willing to relocate to Vesu, Surat.
