In this critical role, you'll work closely with our Accounting Manager and Finance Controller to prepare manual journal entries, perform financial analysis of accounting transactions, and process accurate and timely invoices and credit memos. You'll also have the opportunity to work on ad-hoc projects that support the finance and accounting functions of our growing company.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation of account reconciliations and other reporting requirements of responsible general ledger accounts, identifying and investigating long outstanding transactionsEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls with responsible general ledger accountsAssist with the month-end closing processProcess inventory related vendor invoicesAssist in the review and processing of payroll, via the review payroll timecard, pending time off requests and exception reportProcess customer invoices throughout the month to ensure timely recognition and matching of revenue and cost of goods sold activityPrepare customer credit memos as neededEnsure timely collection of invoicesEnsure timely payment of vendor billingsGenerate A/R aging analysis review A/R aging reportsMaintain accounts receivable customer files and accounts payable vendor files and records to ensure they contain correct information such as billing addresses, contact person, etc.Collect information such as credit references for potential new customersParticipate in audits and provide support for audit requests related to your assigned general ledger accountAd-hoc projects as necessaryKey Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field3+ years of experience in general accounting and month-end close process responsibilities; manufacturing background is a plusExtensive knowledge of Odoo or any ERP SystemMedian Excel skills - VLOOKUP's Pivot TablesUnderstanding of GAAP accounting standardsStrong attention to detailMust possess the ability to work independently as well as within a team and thrive in a dynamic environmentDetail oriented and able to work under pressureGood work ethic and displays a can-do type of attitudeKnowledge on the US monitory systems and financial statementsSprintRay is an equal opportunity employer.Location: Onsite, Hyderabad officeAbout SprintRay:SprintRay is a highly collaborative environment where innovative people have the freedom to satisfy their curiosity by finding creative solutions to hard problems.
