Company DescriptionJob DescriptionWHAT YOU'LL DO As a strategic and experienced Head of Finance & Admin, you will lead and strengthen our financial operations, administrative & procurement frameworks, and internal processes. Reporting directly to the India Site Head, this is a key leadership position responsible for ensuring financial sustainability, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and sound governance for Bangalore tech location. Key Job Responsibilities: Administration & Procurement: Lead the administration team to ensure efficient office operations and support services. Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for administrative services and supplies. Extensive experience in procurement management, vendor negotiation, and cost optimization. Responsible for overseeing all procurement functions, building strong supplier relationships, and ensuring the efficient acquisition of high-quality goods and services. Facilities Management: Ensure the maintenance and safety of the facility, including space planning, maintenance, and security. Develop and implement facility management strategies to enhance the workplace environment. Manage facility budgets and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Coordinate with external service providers for facility-related services like transport and food. Financial Reporting & Compliance: Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial controlling, reporting and analysis. Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize resource allocation and drive cost efficiency. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards and manage audits effectively. Ensure timely & accurate financial close & reporting to Business Unit HQ's / Corporate on a monthly/quarterly basis, by the regional finance team and shared services. Own local financial compliance in accordance with local laws and regulations and statutory audits. Manage regional service providers (Deloitte, EY, local Legal firms & consultants) Stakeholder Management: Support the India Site Head and collaborate with the regional finance leadership team in developing and executing the regional strategy to deliver business outcomes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial and operational strategies with business objectives. Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding finance, administration, and facilities matters. Collaborate with other organizations within H&M Group (e.g., Retail, PO) to ensure alignment between financial objectives and operational goals. Team Leadership & Development: Build and lead a high-performing finance, administration, and facilities team. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, ensuring they have the necessary resources and skills to achieve departmental goals. Oversee talent development and employee growth including cross business/function placements in line with business needs; drive and facilitate strong culture of business partnering between local team & business groups/functions. WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH As the Head of Finance & Admin, you will work extensively with the India Site Head, providing strategic and operational financial insights to support site-level decision-making and long-term planning. You'll also partner with the Regional & Global Finance Team, aligning financial practices, reporting standards, and compliance protocols ensuring seamless integration between financial planning, procurement strategies, and business goals. Your ability to build strong relationships and influence cross-functional teams will be key to your success. WHO YOU ARE We are looking for people with... CA/ CPA with bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Accounting Finance, or related field. Minimum 18 years in Senior Financial management roles, with at least 5 years as business Finance leadership role. Excellent financial analysis skills, advanced modeling and system skills are necessary to identify, present, and challenge key business assumptions. Highly proficient interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) combined with strong business acumen are required to effectively interact and influence all levels of management and across teams in the country & regionally. Exposure to corporate governance practices, including board / Executive Committee level engagements. Statutory compliance experience with international and local regulations as well as Accounting and Financial standards and regulations.
