GAQ225R106We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead our accounting operations in India. This role will oversee financial reporting, compliance, and process optimization while building a strong accounting team to support our international operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Indian accounting regulations, US GAAP, and corporate compliance requirements. The role will report to the Director of International Accounting.The impact you will have:Oversee all monthly and quarterly accounting processes for the Indian subsidiary, ensuring accuracy and timelinessManage compliance requirements, including statutory filings and tax regulations while maintaining strong vendor relationshipsBuild and lead an accounting team in India to support international financial operations and ensure seamless coordination with global finance teamsEnsure strict adherence to company group accounting policies and the correct application of US GAAPSupport external audit requirements by providing accurate financial data and ensuring compliance in assigned areas of responsibilityConduct financial statement analysis, identifying key fluctuations and providing meaningful insights to assist management in decision-makingImplement best practices for financial efficiency, process automation, and internal controlsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial reporting, analysis, and business performance insightsOversee and participate in quarterly and annual audits, working closely with external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracyDrive ad hoc financial projects as needed to support the company's growth and strategic initiativesWhat we look for:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldProfessional qualification (CA, ACCA, ICAEW or similar)Overall 10+ years of experience along with 8+ years of operational accounting experience 2+ years of experience managing a teamOperational accounting experience in a growing SAAS technology business Excellent organizational and time management skillsStrong knowledge of and experience with tools such as Netsuite, FloQast, and CoupaTeam player with excellent communication skills and a desire for innovationAbility to build relationships across organizationsStrong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, tax laws, and compliance regulationsExperience with US GAAPDetail-oriented with a desire for accuracy, analytics, and a stellar customer service approachAbout DatabricksDatabricks is the data and AI company.
